HSMSE is eager to open its campus to our prospective new students for the 2024 2025 School Year. Families that have offers to HSMSE are welcomed to join us at our campus beginning at 5:00 pm.

Families will hear from Principal Dolcy, AP Bartley and AP Bernardo in our opening meeting. Immediately following, 9th and 10th grade counselor, Ms. Patterson, will provide information on next steps, accepting offers and engage the audience with some commonly asked new family questions.

Families of discovery offers are also welcome to the open house.

Please note, this open house is restricted to families that have received notification from high school admissions of an offer to hsmse. Families check in at the door prior to the start of the open house.

These offers are anticipated to be sent to families very soon from the office of high school admissions, likely the first week in March 2024.

All questions about high school offers and the SHSAT should be directed to New York City high school admissions.

HSMSE does not have any part of the admissions process including the SHSAT examination, review of scores nor does it have any access to offers made to families, prior to the notification to families. All such processes are through the office of high school admissions.
