Seniors who have opted to take the SAT by completing the form sent by AP Bartley the first week of school, can begin to bring in the $68 exam fee starting on Tuesday September 24th, during elective periods or after school with Ms. Ortiz in room B-20.

Seniors who will not be taking the SAT will have a Senior College Day with time to work on their respective college apps and essays and supports from college interns. 

General Rule for SAT Exams: 
All SAT exams are to be scheduled at the discretion of parents and their child through the college board.  Families are responsible for signing up for exams that they want their child taking at the times and dates they wish for them to take the exam.  

HSMSE offers the SAT exam for free in the Spring of Junior year through the city efforts of ensuring all students have access at least once to take the SAT at their respective school.  This is an effort that started approximately six years ago.  However, parents should be sure to note, it is completely the obligation of students and parents to communicate about any other administration you want to sign up for at a date. location and time that you choose, by signing up through the college board.  For any other questions about this topic feel free to reach out to college counselor Barneworld.
